The quality of the tutor become more worst when I enter to the second semester. Every single time I enter to the tutor class and ask the question we do not understand, the tutor replied their solution like traveling around the world over 80 days.

As for the course coordinator when they feedback in the forum and figure out their replied wasn’t appropriate, what they did is just removed their previous replied and post a new one. They even will deleted your post if they couldn’t answer your question. By doing so, they can always can cover their track. So be careful do not offend them. Otherwise, you may get a bad grade just for a few words you wrote or said.

I feel pity for the University due to some unethical course coordinator. This may one of the main reason why even students provided with scholarship couldn’t stay for even one semester. I believe they feel the same way like me too.

I hope they realize it as soon as possible and terminate those people for the sake of all of the student.

A problem is happen when we have a gap and the cause is unknown. The most important thing is we need to know the cause.

Why problem solving is so important?

It is because if you can solve the problems, you can handle anything without the worry or fear. Furthermore, you can activate your creative thinking to adapt in any critical situation and find the best solution for it.

What are the basic step of problem solving?

The basic step of problem solving is:

At first my mind expects that I will learn nothing from the course luckily it was not. I open my mind throughout the training and I did learn a lot. It was an interesting course which reflects similarity on what I did in my working life. I always jot down the key point in a notepad or a small piece of paper to identify what is the problem, solution or what to do next. After solve the solution, I will throw away the piece of paper.

This skill is to guide us how to solve problem and make the right decision using a systematic way. Before I go detail in the skill. If you are interested, ask yourself this question “What is a problem?”. If you clearly understand the definition of it, you have taken the first step of success in learning this skill. Till then, I will review the definition in next post.

From my past experience, I always wanted to have my own website and share my life experience and knowledge to people to help them learn and grow as process but it just never happen because that’s what I keep thinking what I think I want without ‘a when’ (time line). I was too focus of what should I do with my website and I end up doing nothing .

Today I finally understand after watching ‘The Secret’ movies/documentary several times. Every surrounding thing around us is what we attract it. It seem to be so weird at first because we won’t understand how it works. After I had understand it, I finally realize surrounding around us is partially what we want it to happen. Our mind have a great potential which we have not fully utilize it. I believe if we able to utilize half of our thought effectively, we can do everything we want and anything we want.

So start to ask yourself this, “What I really want, when I really want”.

While, let’s get back to the story. I love the environment in the University. It was so comfortable place to study and you can even enjoy the sea view while having lunch at the cafeteria. Furthermore, it has free wifi for us to use whole day and the most important thing is the speed was awesome (1GB!!). Unfortunately their university staff and student were not friendly as I expected. I miss the day I met Miyco Lee who has a talented sales skill. She is the 1ST and last one who impresses and lure me to join WOU. The rest of the staff either in university or regional office is damn cool and arrogant. They don’t seem to care who the hell you are. So get used to it. They are useless so let them be. Just ignore them and focus on your study better.

The university provides an online learning known as LMS or WawasanLearn. Unfortunately, those things are totally craps but at least they did put their effort on it. I haven’t seen any college/university that I enter did that before. It is a good start for them. The student wasn’t active in the LMS which has a multiple forum for them to learn about their course and public discussion. I believe one of the main reasons is that the interface was not user-friendly. I do fed-up using the LMS they provided. I don’t like their website design. It was like my cousin son learning how to create a web page using html programming language on their website and I can assure you that my cousin son create a better design than the university itself. Secondly, they have too many forums which have similar discussion. For example, they got public and general forum. Both of the objectives are the same which share student discussion generally. I don’t know why they have to separate it into two which confuse most of the student when they want to create a new topic in the forum. I guess their thought was thinking “1 big apple plus 1 small apple is not equal to 2 apples”. Well, I hope they could find someone to revise what they have done and revise it as soon as possible.

I’m currently working in my previous Multi-National Company again. Work life there was not balance although they keep emphasize “Work life and balance”. Anyway, I get used to it. The most important thing is I’m enjoying work together with the team. They are sweet, nice and the best teammates I ever work with.

In addition, I taking a part-time degree course in Wawasan Open University (WOU) to prove it to my parent I capable to succeed anything if I really want. They keep mumbling education is very important to us. But when I think of it, I didn’t see anyone who did well in their study become very successful person in their life. The best example if we compare Bill Gates who drop out from college and become a multi-billionaire. Where those people who did well in study and ever become a millionaire? In my list is totally none. Don’t you agree ?

This website will become my online diary. I will be writing my part of my life experience, research, computer guideline, software recommendation and many great stuff that I found through the Internet.

Today, I was finally able to get my own domain hosted on the Internet. It was pretty blur stuff when I tried to solve some of the linkage on the web hosting connecting with my domain. It took me a few days in order to understand how everything worked. I just launched it; hopefully the server is running smooth like the wind.

I always wondered how others were to make their own websites without real programming knowledge. Now I just realized how easy it is to create, organize and maintain their own websites using one of the tools known as Content Management Systems (CMS). I was amazed when I finished setting up this CMS on my own website. The features inside were wonderful and easy to use too!!
